I NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 29-126, 29-126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries on May 7, 1966 and June 19, 1966 adopted the following amended Regulation:
1. DEER SEASONS: The season for hunting deer shall begin the third Monday in November and run through January 6, statewide, with the following exceptions:
(a) In the counties west of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and in Amherst west of U.S. Route 29, Bedford, Campbell west of U.S. Route 29, Franklin, Greene west of U.S. Route 29, Halifax, Henry, Madison west of U.S. Route 29, Nelson west of Route 161, Patrick and Pittsylvania deer may be hunted from the third Monday in November and for eleven consecutive hunting days following.
(b) It shall be unlawful to hunt deer at any time in the counties of Arlington, Buchanan, Fairfax in that section closed to all hunting, and Northampton, and on Hidden Valley and Clinch Mountain Wildlife Management Areas.
