Mrs. Frances Beggarly
Mrs. Frances Willard (Trott Baggarly died on June 27, 1963 in a Maryland Nursing home. She was the wife of the late Franklin Clyde Baggarly, former resident of Rappahannock County and owner of Avon Hall. Mrs. Baggarly was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and an active member of the Women’s Auxiliary during her years in Washington. She is survivedby one sister, Mrs. Andrew Taylor and 14 nieces and nephew. A funeral service was held Wednesday at 11a. m. in Hutchins Funeral Home, Owings, Md. with interment in Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Va., that afternoon.
W. Alton Brooks
Word has been received of the death of W. Alton Brooks of 643 Westview Street, Philadelphia which occurred Saturday at Ocean City, N. J., his summer home. Death followed complications from a broken hip. Mr. Brooks was a former resident of Rappahannock living for many years at the Coates place in Old Hollow and later at Slate Mills. He !is survived by his wife Mrs. Virginia Brooks. A funeral service was held ‘Tuesday in Philadelphia.
