Chester Gap

Visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Williams and family during last week were Mrs. Martha Everhart and daughter Kathleen of Gettysburg, Pa. and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frye of Winchester. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elphinstone of Washington, D. C. and Andrew L. Williams of Falls Church spent the weekend here. Miss Beverly Tissot of Bristol, Tenn., who was the director of the Daily Vacation Bible School at the Chester Gap Baptist Mission, was the guest all last week of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis. Other recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Davis were Mr. and Mrs. William Toomey, George Em mitt Chew* ning and Miss Emma Chewning of Falls Church. The pupils and workers of the Vacation Bible School here enjoyed a picnic at Elizabeth Furnace last Saturday.
