Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle had as their dinner guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ford and family of Madison. In the evening the Settles visited Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Ford in Front Royal. Miss Margaret Atkins and three friends of Winchester spent from Thursday until Sunday at Virginia Beach. Mr^ Roadcap Atkins was a visitor Sunday of her sisters, Mrs. Dudley Pullen and family and Mrs. Ruth Orange and family in Woodville. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Baldwin and daughter Lucinda were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. John Carter in Colonial Beach and had dinner at Wilkersons. Mrs. Joanne Faunce and daughter Dodie of Falls Church are spending two weeks with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cordani.Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fillingame, who have been visiting the Cordanis, left this week for Akron, Ohio were Mr. Fillingame has accepted a position with Firestone Mrs. Fill ingame is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cordani. Mrs. C. C. Cockerill returned to her home in Herndon Sunday after spending five days with her daughter Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. She was accompanied to Herndon by Misses Nancy and Susan Latham who will return home today. Thursday evening Mrs. Latham, Mrs. Cockerill and Miss Nancy Latham attended Wayside Theatre in Middletown.

Miss Landra Dennis and James West of Richmond attended the State Highway Department picnic held Saturday at Kamp Kentwood near Richmond. Sunday they attended the races at Richmond Dragway. Miss Dennis was the over night guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Brown in Richmond. Mrs. Russell Luttrell of Culpeper was the guest Sunday of L. H. Luttrell and family. Mrs. Ethel Cooksey spent Sunday afternoon in Washington, D. C. and visited Mrs. Alice Nelson. She was accompanied to Washington by the Rev. and Mrs. A. C. Walker and children of Culpeper who visited an art gallery with
