Ruritans Welcome
Three New Members
Amissville Ruritan Club held its regular meeting June 16 at the Amissville fire hall, and at this time welcomed three new members to the organization. They were the Rev. Charles Kindred, William Herring and Farrell Nicholas. ’ The Amissville Ladies Auxiliary served dinner to the [twenty-seven members present.
Miss Luerena '/.inn, teacher and guidance counselor at Rap
|pahannock County High School was guest speaker. Her topic was Hducation in Rappahannock County. At a special meeting of the Ruritans held June 25, final plans were made for the annual pit-cooked barbecue which will be held Saturday July 3 from 4 p.m. until 9 P- m.

A five day Phono-Visual Method Teachers Training Course at Primary Day School Inc., Bethesda, Md. is being attended by county teachers. Those going daily are Mrs. Una I lahn of Boston, Mrs. Dorothy Spicer, Castleton, Mrs. Flsie Dodson, Flint Hill and i Mrs. Anne Keyser, Washington.
