Wines, have moved to a house in Cullers Row in Front Royal. The next meeting of the Chester Gap Home Demonstration Club will be held Thursday, July 8 at 7:30. This will be on 'Care of the Hair" and should be very interesting. All the ladies of the vicinity are invited and urged to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Williams of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and daughter of Sperryville and Mr. and Mrs. LeMerle Williams of Chester Gap spent Sunday in Winston Salem, N. C. Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams were in Warrenton and Winchester Monday on business.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Price of Baltimore and Mr. Price’s mother Mrs. Price of Front Royal visited Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams Monday evening.
Willis Chapel Official Board Meets
The Official Board of the Willis Chapel Methodist Church met at the parsonage in Flint Hill with the Rev. and Mrs. Grimmer last Wednesday. Others present were Eddie Fox, Mrs. Evelyn Mills and daughter Linda, Mrs. LeMerle Williams, Mrs. Sally Casin, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey North and daughter Bonnie.
