Woodville Youth
Revival Well Attended
The yough revival at the Woodville Baptist Church last week under the leadership of Mr. James Elliott as preacher and Mr. James Garrison, Jr. as song leader proved to be a very inspirational week for the adults as well as the youth. The church membership was strenthened by one addition by letter and six young people presenting themselves for baptism.
Not only were there inspiring messages by word and song at each service, there was also fun and fellowship, included with the Sunday dinner on the ground with evening vesper, service and wiener roast on Red Oak Mountain which was attended by thirtyone young people. Following the closing service the young people enjoyed a fellowship hour at the parsonage with twenty-eight enjoying the games and refreshments. They were Mr. Raymond Johnson and his house guests, the Misses Diane and Susan Hofman of California, Freddie Burk of Arlington, Bobby, Beth and Martha Lou O’Bannon, Jacob and JohnDod son, Martha Bee Harris, Kenny and Mary Frances Cave, Janet and Jean Payne, Betty Lou and Billy Atkins, Jimmy Orange, Franklin Hitt, Edna Bayne, Larry Connors, Mr. Elliott, Mr. Garrison, Leslie, Mike, Bobby, Sue and the Reverend and Mrs. B. Gale Titchenell.
