Back in Uniform At Age of 62

Fort Stewart, Ga. - Chaplain Henry Louttit, who retired after 20 years of Army service as a lieutenant colonel is back in uniform - a private first class, at age 62. The chaplain, an Episcopal bishop in civilian life, enlisted in the Florida National Guard last November after the Army discovered he was four months short of the necessary 20 years’ service. He’ll fulfill the requirement tomorrow, after two weeks of active duty wij;h the guard in summer camp, in retirement, the Orlando bishop will become a lieutenant colonel again.

Readies Six Sections

Of Interstate Roads

Six new sections of interstate highway totaling 95 miles are expected to be ready for traffic by the end of the year, pushing the completed portion in Virginia to 459 miles, the State Highway Department said today. Altogether, the state has been assigned 1,056 miles of the national interstate system -- and the rest of the mileage is in some stage of construction or preliminary work. Virginia is on schedule in

room windows and, as there are trees on this side and reflections of the mountains on the other, it is lovely. We have a little garden spot near the Garden House where we have six tomatoes and two pepper plants and get all we can use to eat and can. Our good friends keep us supplied with other vegetables. As you may have gathered by now, we love our new home and every stick and stone on the whole 5 acres. As to the town and its people, they too have proved a source of real joy.
