We have a meadow with a creek running through it which called for a pond, we felt. We consulted the Soil Conservation Commission and the project was started in the spring of 1962. It was found that there were 4 or 5 springs which we were assured were ample to supply water for it. But after several years of drought the water level was so low and the hole so deep it was rather discouraging, aut with the snow and spring rains we are delighted to say it is filling now.
