friends. Several dollars were donated by visitors to the Library. Now a number of new books will be purchased for summer reading. A gracious thank you to all the ladies who made that supper possible is extended by the Library Board. This spirit of cooperation between different groups for the common good is the kind of thing that will make this community grow in stature before the, eyes of'all. It is the history of every community that has made cultural and educational advances that its component groups searched out ways and means to cooperate in every program for general improvement.
Attends Forestry Camp
Wendell Latham of Amissville returned home Friday after attending Forestry Camp at Holiday Lake in Appomattox for a week. Mr. Latham, who is Vo-Ag instructor at C. T. Smith High School, Caroline County, accompanied a group of students to the camp. This week Mr. Latham is in Blacksburg.
