At the Rappahannock Lions Club meeting last Wednesday evening, the featured topic was Safety. Guest speaker was Trooper J. B. Willis who showed a film, “Signal 30”, concerning highway traffic crashes. Paul St. Clair and Dan Wilson, both of Amissville, joined the other Lion members in a discussion period following the film. The film was shown to school groups the following day, and should be viewed by as many people as can be reached. In three weeks there have been five people killed in traffic collisions on less than a twenty mile stretch of Route 211 through Rappahannock, Culpeper and Fauquier counties.
