Former Governor Albertis S. Harrison, Jr., was elected to the Board of Directors of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company of Virginia, today, April 29, 1966.
Mr. Harrison is presently engaged in the general practice of law in his hometown, Lawrenceville, after serving as the state’s chief executive from 1962 until January of this year. A native of Brunswick County he was educated in the public schools of that county and at the University of Virginia, where he received a law degree in 1928. He is a director and formerly was general counsel of the Farmers and Merchants Bank of Lawrenceville. Mr. Harrison is a member of the Virginia and American Bar Associations, the Virginia State Bar, the American Institute of Trial Lawyers, and various civic organizations.
