Miss Diane Bruce and her roommate Miss Elizabeth Broaddus «f‘'Lohgwoetf college spent the week-end at the home of Miss Bruce’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Bruce. On Saturday Mr„ Bruce, Miss Bruce, Miss Broaddus and Manly Bruce attended the running of the Mary Hunt Cup at Glyndon, Maryland. David Lyne of the University of Virginia was a weekend guest of his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman who spent the past two weeks in Richmond as guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, Jr. returned on Saturda> to their home. Mrs. D. M. Sullivan of Martinsburg, W. Va. spent from Thursday until Saturday with her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins.
Mr. and Mrs. William H. Morrow, daughter Margaret of Norfolk and son W. H., Jr. of the University of Virginia were week-end guests of Mr. Morrow's sister Mrs. W. H. Cor die. Mr. and Mrs. W. B.
