A Merrifield, Va. man was fatally injured Sunday night In a two-car collision on Route 211 about three miles east of Amlssville in Culpeper County David R. Bennett, 59, was killed instantly when he was struck as he pulled onto the highway from a service station. His car, a 63 Studebaker Lark, was demolished. Bennett was a native of Rappa, bannock County. ' " Operator uf the other vehicle, a 59 Bulck sedan, was Burt N. Johnson, a soldier stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He sustained abrasions of the knees, elbows and nose and was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton by Amlssville Rescue Squad. He was treated and released. His car also was a total loss, according to Trooper J. C. Lawson who investigated. A collision Involving three vehicles occurred Friday on Route 522 at Flint Hill Friday, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. However, there were no injuries and damage was moderate.
