west on Route 211 when she swerved to avoid striking a dog in the road, she said. She lost control of the vehicle, ran off the right of the highway and struck a large tree. She was operating a 62 Rambler station wagon. Injuries sustained were a fractured thigh, broken rib, facial cuts and bruises oi the abdomen and chest. She was taken to the hospital by Amisavllls Rescue Squad. Trooper K. L. Miller investigated the crash.
Seniors Take Test
A group of senior class students of Rappahannock County High School were in Roanoke Friday night and Saturday to take qualification tests for WACs and regular U. S. Army. Among those going were Barbara Pullen, Ruth Dwyer, Billy Mundy, Ronnie Pullen, Robert Cooke, Bill Durden and Mack Dodson.
