Opens In Culpeper
Among new businesses opening in Culpeper is a unique gift shop. The Peter Douglas Shop located on Cameron Street Just back of Peoples Drug Store. Here can be found gifts from many countries, from oriental urns to exotic perfumes, attractively displayed in the enchanting atmosphere of the shop. There are imported gifts from Portugal, Spain, Italy and Austria, along with antiques from the Paris flea market. For the most part gifts are contemporary rather than traditional, but are stylish and functional. Proprietors of the shop are A. A. Pietropaoli, formerly employed by Washington Gas Light Company, and W, D. Harris who was comptroller for Shrader Sound, Inc. They also remodeled bouses as a sideline. Some time ago they purchased property near Culpeper where they plan to build unless they can find an old bouse to'remodel.
