4-H’era See Traffic Film
The Rappahannock Senior 4-H Clubs held a Joint meeting on April £8. A program on Safe Driving was presented by Trooper Willis of the State Police. He showed a film on traffic accidents called 'Signal 30*.

A Better View
In this day of draft card burning, campus demonstrations, and 'anything goes* to stay out of Viet Nam, it is refreshing to listen to Ferrum Junior College’s student government president, Donnie Brown. These outward signs of unrest are ‘signs of a growing inward sickness,” Brown told Ferrum students in a recent weekly student assembly. 'This sickness is called collective college fear. It is a fear that causes a person to turn the other way to avoid seeing something he knows is wrong,” he was quick to explain. Brown admonished the Ferrum students for their standards of dress, lack of conformance to the honor code, and for their disregard of school property. He suggested students stand for something. ‘Give yourself over to something,” he challenged. ‘Don't let your promised future die on a bed of peer-group 'acceptance if it is to mean in the bargain that you-are to lose your definite set of values and your true identity.” At the beginning of the school
