Mis* Turner Honored At Bridge, Shower
Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. John Cargill and Mrs. T. C. Lea, jr. were joint hostesses Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Cargill on Mt. Salem Avenue for a dessert Bridge party and miscellaneous bridal shower honoring Miss Carolyn Gates Turner. Miss Turner’s marriage to William Scott Dewhirst of Hampton will take place August 13 in Washington. Other guests included Mrs. I. O. Wolf of Woodville, Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. F. W. Schaeffer Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., of Sperryville, Mrs. James Massie of Amissville, Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. Fisher Bur ford, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. of Flint Hill, Mrs. James Pharr of Newport News, Mrs. T. B. Massie, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. John Peyton Snead, IV, Mrs. W.
