Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Roberson of Newport News were guests over the 4th of the Rev. and Mrs. William Harrison. Mrs. Harrison and Kevin returned with them for several days visit last week. Guests on Sunday of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Mrs. Lois Frazier and Miss Frances Leake of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Littard of Silver Spring, Md. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper and Mrs. Earle Wayland were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore. Those attending the funeral of Ennis Leake in Luray on Thursday were Mrs. Catherine Brown, Shirley Brown, Mrs. Charles Overhulser of Baltimore, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Atkins, Clyde Atkins and Mrs. Ethel Clater. Miss Annie Hopkins, Oakley Hopkins, Mrs. Dorothy Waite* Mrs. A1 Wall, all of Washington, D. C. visited friends in town on Sunday. Dinner guests on Monday of Mr. and Mrs. Markward Butler were Miss Susan Schaefer and Francis Updike.
