The Rev. William Layman was a dinner guest Tuesday of the Rev. and Mrs. Fletcher Osborne. O. B. Cundiff of Huddleston was a visitor Saturday morning of the Osbornes and in the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Preston Dodson of Burkeville were their guests. Recent guests of Mr. and Mr^ Milton Payne were Mr. and Mrs. Miller Bout and children and Mrs. Charles Roberts of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Payne and family of New Jersey. Mrs. Harry Manning of Oxen Hill, Md. spent a week visiting Mrs. Odessa Ficklin. She was Joined Monday evening by Mr. Manning and they returned home Tuesday. During her visit here, Mrs. Manning and Mrs. Ficklin were visitors of Mrs. Annie Latham, Mrs. Ethel Cooksey, and Mrs. Grace Green here and of Mr. and Mrs. Morrison Green in Warrenton. Vickie Settle, Debbie Poe, David James and Connie Holmes, young people of Amissville Methodist Sunday School, are attending the Methodist camp at Boston, Va. this week.
