George Davis Williams
A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Willis Chapel Methodist Church for George Davis Williams, 19, of Huntly, who died Monday night in the University of Virginia hospital of injuries received when struck by a car Sunday afternoon. He was born in Fauquier County, son of Roy Texter Williams and Laura Elkins F idler, who survive him. Other survivors are two brothers, Bobby Lee Williams of Chester Gap and Earl D. Williams of Huntly; one halfbrother, Charles Fidler and one sister Mrs. Ann Chadwell of Huntly. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Irving Johnson and the Rev. Charles Pruitt. Interment was in the Willis Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Elkins, Billy Elkins, Harold Campbell, Fred Campbell, Jerry Williams and Dennis Ewell.
