OBITUARIES
George W. Jenkins
George Washington Jenkins, 51, of Front Royal, died Saturday, July 9, 1966 in Warren Memorial Hospital. He was an employee of the American Viscose FMC Corp. He was born in Sperryville, son of George Franklin and Eda Berry Jenkins. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Payne Jenkins; one son, Roger Jenkins, Front Royal; two brothers. Tommy Jenkins, Luray and Edgar Jenkins of Mitchells, and four sisters, Mrs. Ida Noakes, Mrs. Elizabeth Costello and Mrs. Etta Kein, all of Front Royal, and Mrs. Annie Kubert, Edgewater, Fla. A funeral service was held Monday at 4 p.m. in the Rivermont Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Young. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery at Washington, Va.
