Editors Visit Luray—A visit to Luray Caverns on Sunday, June 25, was one of the scheduled entertainment activities of the annual meeting of the National Newspaper Association held in Richmond this year. Chartered buses brought the editors from Richmond via Skyline Drive to Luray Caverns. The group also visited the Car and Carriage Caravan and were guests of the cavern’s management for a buffet lunch in the Cave Room. Editors from surrounding communities were also invited as guests of the Caverns for this occasion. Editors, came from as far as Texas, Tennessee, Massachusetts and Michigan and as nearby as Luray, New Market, Rappahannock and Culpeper. The party returntd via Culpeper where they were guests of Walter Potter, publisher of the Culpeper Star-Exponent. He is immediate past president of the N. N. A.
