Forestry, and a wildlife techni ;ian from the Commission of Came and Inland Fisheries, handled the instruction a t camp. Courses taught included forest fire control, timber harvesting, wood preservation, timber measuring and marketing, forest manage ment, tree identification, forest insects and diseases, and wildlife management. Camp counsellors were vocational agriculture instruct ors provided through the State Department of Education. Holiday Lake Camp is financed by Virginia pulpwood using industries, sponsored by the Southern Pulpwood Conser vation Association and managed by the Virginia Division of Forestry.
