Boys, Forestry Camp

The 22nd annual Boys' Foresting Camp was held during the week of June 2b through July 1. State Forester George W. Dean stated that 102 boys attended camp this year and will carry back to their community a wealth of knowMrs.
Leroy Hall and four children left Sunday for their home in Camilla, Ga. after visiting her mother Mrs. F. Downing Wood at Sunnyside. Mr. and Mrs. J. Stant Weaver attended funeral services for Mr. Weaver’s cousin Mrs. Dewey Hoffman Monday in Madison. Lt. Col. Richard A. Grant of Norfolk and his three children of Springfield were guests Sunday of Mrs. Ada Huff at Mt. Pleasant. Judge and Mrs. T. C. Lea and children are vacationing this week at their cottage. Miss Peggy Palmer is visit ing friends this week in Virginia Beach. Mr. and Mrs. George Willis of Petersburg were callers

Miss Susan Curtis of New Carrolton, Md. was the guest during the 4th of July holiday of her parents Mr. and Mrs. William A. Curtis and her grandfather H. J. Racer. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis left Wednes^ day for a two weeks visit in Kansas.
