Mrs. Ida Mae Devers
Mrs. Ida Mae Devers, 82, of Sperryville died in Winchester Memorial Hospital Sunday morning, July 2. 1967. Mrs. Devers was born in Page County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Varner. She was the widow of William R. Devers. She was a member of the Flint Hill Metho dist Church and an honorary member of the WSCS of the church. Surviving are three sons, George D. and William J. Devers, both of Front Royal; and Randolph Devers of Sperry ville; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth D. Miller of Springfield, Ga.; | five grandchildren and five i great-grandchildren. [ A graveside service was -conducted Wednesday at 2 p. j m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery conducted by the Rev. C. Edward Pruitt. Pallbearers were Dr. Edwin Eastham, Luther Lawson, M. R. Bradford, Jr. W. C. Williams, Dabney Eastham and Robert Brooks.
Dr. Richard L. Hughes
Dr. Richard L. Hughes, 46, prominent practitioner of obstetrics and. gynecology in Winchester, died unexpectedly Saturday night at his home. Death was attributed to a coro nary occlusion. He received his M. D. degree at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and undertook speciality training at the Medical College of Virginia and Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
