Revival Services at Chester Gap Baptist
Rev. Ralph J. Rasberry, pastor of the Chester Gap Baptist Church announces that Revival Services will begin on Monday evening July 24 and will continue each evening through August 4. The services will begin at 7:30 o’clock. The Rev. Donald A. Givens, pastor of the Jefferson Park Baptist Church of Charlottesville, will be guest evangelist. He will be remembered as the speaker here last Fall. The public is cordially invited and urged to attend all services. The nursery will be open for each service.
Youth Hostels Report Overnight Groups
Nalleyland Youth Hostel or Falling Waters Road had 5 overnights during the month of June, 1967. These were a group of hostelers from Pittsburgh, lead by Andy Hanson, according to Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Nalley of Hagerstown, houseparents. Ragged Mountain Farm Supplemental Hostel, near Sperryville, Virginia had 7 overnights in May, 1967, according to Mrs. M. Petti, housemother. These included two families, from Bethesda and Potomac, Md. A Youth Hostel is a simple overnight accommodation for people traveling under their own steam, by biking, hiking, canoeing, etc.
