We have a few copies of the Culpeper Farm Show Catalogue in the office if anyone would be interested in exhibiting articles in it. I hope you 4-H’ers taking projects in clothing, foods, room improvement, etc. will enter some articles. Those who carried Litt Virginia Miss, Unit I have several articles that could easily fit in to make a nice exhibit and may also win you some of that prize money.
************ A reminder of the tour to Hershey, Pa. that the Home Economics groups are sponsoring response thus far has been good but we still need several more to warrant chartering a bus. Pertinent information again: Date - August 5th Cost approximately $6.15 per person; tour to include: Museum, Gardens and Choco late plant, if open. Time of departure will be established at a later time. Please contact Mrs. Robt. B. Settle, Amissville, Va. or extension office if interested.
************ Senior 4-H members Susan Dodson, Roger Cordani and Tommy Williams are attending Conservation and Leadership Camp held at Virginia E^each this week. During the ^reek they will receive information on ways they as young Junior Leaders can help to improve the county’s conser. vation practices, will receive training on taking more active and leadership roles in church and community affairs as well as in their 4-H work. Scholarship enabling these members to attend the camp are given by the' County Farm Bureau.
