The average length of each absence was 1.86 days and the percentage of accumulated time lost from school was only 1.83%. To the parents who supplied the above information, the Tuberculosis and Health Asso ciation of Northern Virginia wishes to express grateful appreciation. It is planned that additional1 encouragement will be offered pupils and parents to improve health habits wherever: possible during the next school year. The study in this school is an indication that school nurses and educators, using all available means, have made a strong impression on this group of children. The tuberculosisassociation has been supplying Health Adventures which stess good habits to all primary children in Winchester and Frederick schools for more than ten years.
