Safety Hints for Using Power Mowers
You’re only a footawayfrom trouble, when operating a power mower. So, let caution be your guide, and keep your feet away from the whirling blade, while cutting grass with the handy machine, the American Insurance Association warns. If you are mowing grass on a slope, always cut across the incline -- never up or down — to avert an accident, the Association also advises. More than 50 million Americans are injured annually from a variety of accidents, including more than 22.5 million in home mishaps. You can avoid adding to the statistics by using a power mower care fully.
