Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burke and daughter, Dawn, of Manassas are spending a twoweek vacation with Mrs. Burke's parents,Mr.andMrs. Chester Weaver.Mr. andMrs. Jack Weaver and family of Alexandria spent last weekend with the Chester Weavers. The Weavers had as overnight guests last week their granddaughters, Misses Mary Ann Weaver and Deedie Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Beck and son, Kenneth, of Vienna, who are building a home near here, are living on the Lowell Archer farm until their home is ready for occupancy. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Jenkins and daughter, Doris Lee spent a recent weekend in Rich mond with Mr. andMrs. Frank Jenkins and family.

Scott and Thompson were both charged with reckless driving, said Trooper R. M. Dodson who investigated the incident. Damage to the cars were estimated at $25 to Scott’s; $300 to Thompson; $300 to Cannon and $25 to Riley. Two vehicles met on a narjrow curve on Route 619 near Castleton Friday and collided. ! According to Trooper J. B. Willis, Alpheus Franklin Cannon of Castleton operating a 66 Ford pickup and Glen Richard Totten of Strasburgoperating a 64 Dodge pickup collided. The Totten truck was owned by Robert W. Lansberry of Front Royal. No charges were jmade by Mr. Willis. Randolph W. Starks of Washington, Va. sustained minor injury when a farm tractor [overturned on him Saturday 'when he was driving it down [Route 622 three miles west of Washington. Starks looked around to check the mower he was pulling and ran down a bank, said Trooper Willis who investigated. He received bruises of both legs.
