Midshipman 3/c Page Moffett spent tne weeicena with his parents on Gay Street. Page is stationed aboard the U. S. S. Yancy, AKA 93 in Norfolk, Va. for an eight-week cruise. On August 10 he will transfer to the U. S. S. Taconie for a two-week cruise to Bermuda. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. Louemma Moffett, Page and Carter Moffett had dinner in Fredericksburg and took Page to meet the bus to Norfolk. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Giles and Skippy were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Frances Saunders of Rockfish, Va. Mrs. B. M. Miller and Mrs. G. H. Davis, jr. attended a picnic on Saturday at VintHill near Warrenton. Mrs. Bobbie Gritzer and Mrs. Matilda Walker attended the sale of Mrs. John W. Wood in Luray on Friday and Saturday. Stewart Hawkins returned Wednesday from Camp Rock Enon at Gore, Va. where he has been employed for the .summer.
