The grand prizes and other prizes will be awarded at the climax of events Saturday night. Grand prize is a 1967 Plymouth Valiant. Second prize is a portable television and there will be four $25 Savings Bonds given away.
Fall Rummage Sales Set for September
The semi-annual sales staged for the benefit of the Washington Fire Company and Rappahannock Rescue Squad will be held during the month of September. The salesroom in the basement of the Washington Post Office building will be open each Thursday and Friday of the month from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Anyone who has usable articles which they would like to donate for the sales may call Mrs. W. B. Jenkins, 675-3352. All contributions will be greatly appreciated. Revenue from tht spring sales totaled $420.
