The W.S.C.S. of Amissville Methodist Church met Wednesday, August 2 at the church with 13 members and one visitor present. The Rev. W. A. Layman presented a Bible program with slides. Hostesses for the group were Mrs. Lewis Smith and Mrs. W. A. Layman.

Massie Jr. were dinner guests Thurs day night of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. Miss Mary Brooke Massie was a visitor of Mrs. W. H. Massie, jr. last week. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Johnston had as dinner guests on Thursday night Mr. and Mrs. Harry Willoughby and daughter, Pat. of Unionville. Mrs. W. G. Eastham and daughters, Lizzie andMarion, were Sunday guests of Mrs. W. H. Massie, jr. Miss Polly Bortner of Richmond is visiting Miss Page Lea this week. Mrs. C. H. White and Mrs. John Cowan of Linden were callers at the W. C. Campbell home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs^.W^ A.
