Resident Engineer James K. Skeens stated that in the next five year period over a million dollars is scheduled to be spent on roads in Rappahannock County and this will still not bring all of them up to the minimum standards. However, the roads in Rappahannock are in good condition in comparison to many other parts of the state, he said. Mr. Skeens was speaking at a luncheon meeting Tuesday at Hampton Inn arranged in observance of Highway Week in Virginia, September 24-30. Attending the meeting were some county officials and interested parties.
