It shows that, in Rappahannock County, gross income from farm operations last year, before deductions for expenditures, amounted to
$4,481,000, as compared with the previous year’s $4,413,000.
This included the cash receipts from the sale of farm products together with govern ment payments and the value of the home-grown items consumed on the farm. With respect to the number of people living on loca 1 farms, it was equivalent to a gross income of $4,073 per capita.
