Classes in Basic Knitting will start Wednesday, October 4 from 7 to 9 p. m. at the home of the instructor, Mrs, Mary Cleverley. These popular classes are sponsored by the Flint Hill Home Demonstration Club and Arts <and Crafts Project. Mrs. Ida Trump was in Washington, D. C. Tuesday attending the meeting of the Licensing Board of Practical Nursing for the District of Columbia.
Mrs. Mary Cleverley lectured Monday at the Lewis Hotel Training School on “Interesting Positions in the Field of Geriatrics.". This is her sixth year of lecturing to this group.

\ family dinner paflty was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Green in Marie ham in honor of their son-inlaw and daughter Lt. and Mrs. Marvin H. Bradford. Lt. Brad ford has recently returned from Vietnam. Present were members of both families and close friends. Mrs. Frank Lastham of \rF ington was the week-end guest of her sister Mrs. E. M. Las* ham and Mr. and Mrs. L. Burford.
Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. was the week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Jarrels at Mt. Meridan. Sunday dinner guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Ray Williams was the Rev. Billy Howell of Rileyville and they were later visitors of Mrs. Howell and baby daughter at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal. M. FI.
