Another big meeting of the SCA took place on Monday, Sept. 18. Janet Hackley re-j
ported that the American Flag! had been cleaned but was in poor condition. A new flag was found in the school and will be flown instead of the old one.1 After hearing from several committees, the meeting was turned over to Mrs. Wolf, who discussed with the group some ideas for prizes and* projects during the magazine campaign. Prizes ranged from being allowed to be first in the lunch line along with a free lunch for the daily high salesman to the awarding of a stereo in the “mystery draw mg*. It was decided that the money earned would be appropriated for the purchasing; of a state flag, and definite! amounts will go into the schol- | arship fund and the general| fund. Money will also go to- j ward the purchasing of a school sign to be placed in front of the building. Through the efforts of Mr. James W. Fletcher, a state flag has been obtained. Money appropriated for the flag will go toward another project. If all students put forth a big effort, we should zoom over the top of our goal and have plenty of money to improve our school.
