Mrs. Joseph Pauze
Mrs. Claire Wayland Pauze of Woodville died suddenly at her home Sunday, September 24, 1967. She was 59 years old, the daughter of the late John and Lorena Brown Wayland of Rappahannock County. She is survived by her husband Joseph E. Pauze of Woodville; one son, Barney Pauze of Missouri; a brother, J. Earle Wayland, Sperryville and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Eily of Seattle. Wash. A funeral service was held at 4 p.m. yesterday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Culpeper with the Rev. John Jordan officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Pallbearers were Oliver Du rant II, N.K.G. Tholand, Arthur Miller. J. W. Fletcher, Dr. John P. Snead and Harry Stephenson.
Robert J. McLean
Robert James McLean, 51, of Amissville died Monday, September 25, 1967 of a sudden heart condition in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was a pastry chef employeed with a restaurant at Dulles Airport. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura M. McLean; four daughters, Mrs. Jean M. Willis of Annapolis, Md.. Mrs. Judith M. Griffin of Blakely, Ga., Mrs. Jannette M. Hitt, and Miss Laura R. McLean, both of Amissville; one sister, Mrs. John J. Sayles, Shreveport, La. and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held today (Thursday the 28th) from the Clore Funeral Home Chap el, Culpeper at 11 a.m. The Rev. Charles Kindred will conduct the service. Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were
