Plans have been completed for the coming BOOK FAIR to be held during the week of October 16 though October 22. It is hoped that the program will bring pleasure to the children and, at the same time, provide an opportunity for selecting book gifts for Christmas. In order to offer a larger selection of more recently published books the collection to be shown was ordered from the Educational Reading Service which specializes in supplying books for school libraries and which is well known for its Book Fair programs.

The collection will have;

books attractive to everyone, j

from the picture book age to j the teenager, with most of; the books for the latter being, paper back editions. Prices' will range from $.59 to $3.95.1 The collection will beexhib-; ited at the Sperryville Ele-! mentary School on Monday,; October 16 and at the Washington, Va. Elementary School on Tuesday, October 17, when all children will have the opportunity to see the books and make their selections. It will be at the Rappahannock Library from Wednesday, October 18 through Sunday, October 22.
