Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown of Staunton attended the Richmond-Carolina football game in Richmond on Saturday. Their children, Susan, Margaret and J. Rodes III were guests of their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown at Rock Villa. Mrs. George \V. Hawkins was an overnight guest on Wednesday of her sister, Mrs. Charles Burke in Front Royal and on Thursday they spent the day with their mother, Mrs. G. M. Golden in Martinsburg, W. Va. Mrs. Della B. Howard returned to the Lee Highway Hotel on Friday alter a visit ot several days with her da ughter, Mrs. J. H. Aylor in Arlj infityp. Her _g r a nddaughter, Joyce Aylor was a weekend guest. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Black were- Mr. a nd Mrs. 1 .ouis I F>dges and son C urt of Richmond. SMS and Mrs. Thomas Swindler and two children of Hyatts* ville, Md. spent several days last week with Miss Barbara Swindler. SM/Sgt. Swindler left on Tuesday tor a three year tour of duty in Germany. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Johnson, Jr. were Mr. and Mrs. 11. W. Jones and daughters, Lisa and Lynn of Richmond. They were joined for dinner on Saturday by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stent who recently returned from Hong Kong. Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Sunday guests of Mrs. Lois Frazier
