Beagle Trials

Set Nov. 16th

The Beagle Dog Field Trials sponsored by the Madison County Wildlife Association Will be held Saturday, November 16, beginning 9:30 a.m. on the Ernest Yowell Farm near Madison on Route 652.

Dogs will be divided into two classes of 13 inches and 15 inches. There will be four prizes in each class, and also a Grand Champion prize. Prizes will be ^warded at the annual banquet.

Nominal entry fees will be charged plus the small membership fee. Dog owners are requested to have all dogs on leashes and to have the dogs at the scene of hunt by 8:30 a.m. so the dogs can be numbered.

Lunch will be available on the grounds.

Dog owners and the general public are cordially invited to' come, bring your dogs, and watch this interesting event.

As in past years, the Army is again offering young men the opportunity to enlist in the Army now but not leave for active duty until after the Christmas and New Years holidays, it was announced today by SFC DANIEL O. WRIGHT, local Army Recruiter.
