OBITUARIES

C. W. Sparks

A funeral service for Claude William Sparks was held Monday, November 11,1968, at 11 a.m. at Geest Funeral chapel, the Rev. H. B. Jones officiated. Burial was Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Green Valley Memory Gardens, Richlands. Mr. Sparks, 39, of Boston, Va. died Saturday at the residence of Robert Jenkins near Culpeper. He was a native of Tazewell County, son of Mrs. Melissa Smith Sparks and the late Gideon Sparks. He was employed by the Old Dominion Manufacturing Company in Culpeper.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Louise Anderson Sparks; three sons, William Roger Sparks, Charles Edmund Sparks and Claude Allen Sparks, all of Boston; two daughters, Patricia Ann Sparks and Linda Fay Sparks, both of Boston; and five brothers, Elmer B., Earnest E., Clinton T., Rex E. and Clyde W. Sparks, all of Richlands.
