Two vehicles <*t>llided on Route 729 Sunday afternoon when they met oh a curve. Kenneth Randolph Housden of Luray operating a 63 Chevrolet and May Putnam Hawkins of Rixeyville driving a 6-4 Chevrolet met on a curve. Housden applied his brakes and skidded on wet pavement into the side of the Hawkins car, according to Trooper W A.

Housden was charged with t failing to drive to the right of the road There were no injuries and damage was estimated at $150 to the Housden vehicle and $200 to the Hawkins car.
Walter Calley Pittman of Criglersvillc was not injured when the 6-1 Rambler he was driving went over an embankment and struck a tree on Route 211
