I think you all do a wonderful job to cover so much territory. I think it is the besl paper a small town ever put out

My purpose in listing the variovu tax assessments was so that th< public, by comparing these figures could see the unfair way assessments had been made -• a .well as be able to compare thei: own assessments with thos6%hicl I had listed. I stand for a fair an< equal tax assessment for all people regardless of who they are.
It is my belief that ta: assessments have always beei landled this way ii Rappahannock and no Assess men Board is able to do much abou this. It seems that there must be ai impartial, fair Equalization Boan with definite criteria applicable t< all property before proper change can be made.
It is also my belief that whei fair-minded, civic-minded peopli see these tax assessments side b; side, they will want all property
