Home Demonstration Club and Garden Club work
While serving us chairman of the Giles County Home Demonstration Club she led the women so satisfactorily that they dedicated their Year Book to her. She also wrote radio scripts for National Home Demonstration Week. She is a life member of the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, Virginia 4-H All Stars and Lutheran Church Women.
Mrs. Ahalt has held the office of president of the Pearisburg Garden Club, Southwest District Council of Accredited Flower Show Judges, Young Woman’s Auxiliary of Vinton Baptist Church and Missionary Circle. She served as secretary of the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs.
