in Koanoke County she served as president of the 4-H County Council, was named outstanding club member in the county, won a state dress revue award and became an All Star. She now serves as adult leader and inspired her son and daughter, also an All Star, to become 4-H'ers.

Also active in the All Stars as an officer and to help with state*, conferences is Mrs. Walker. She often serves as judge for 4-H demonstration contests and fairs and is 4-H organizational leader.

For eight years Mrs. Walker .has been active in the PTA and is in her second year as secretary. She helped to organize three PTA’s for new schools. She is a charter member of a regional group to aid retarded children.
