Miss Caroline Virginia Jenkins enlisted in the United States Air Force on January 17, 1969. She is the daughter of Charles H, Jenkins and Mrs. Victoria Jenkins of Huntly, Va.
Miss Jenkins graduated from Rappahannock County High School in June of 1968. She is now assigned to Lackland AFB, San Antonia, Texas for training. After completing six weeks of basic training, Caroline will be reassigned to a technical training school for special training in a job of her choice. Here address is AB Caroline V. Mrs. W. S. Jenkins
Mrs. Mae Tanzy Jenkins of Sperryville died January 19, 1969 at her residence. She was 64, the daughter of the late Eddie and Lucy Nichols Parks.
A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville, with the Rev. William Harrison conducting the service. Interment will be in Sperryville Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Will Stephen Jenkins, a son, Floyd Jenkins of Gardenia, Calif two daughters, Mrs. Edna Wolf of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Weldon Skiles of Knox City, Texas four step-children, Robert and Charles Jenkins, both of Sperryville, George Jenkins of Culpeper and Elzie Jenkins of Winchester; and nine grandchildren.
