Golden Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell of Washington, Va. observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary with a quiet family dinner Sunday at their home. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell were married June 11, 1919. Joining them Sunday for dinner and wedding cake were Mr. and Mrs. John Paulson and daughter Lyn of Newport News; Mrs. Campbell’s sister, Mrs. C. H. White of Linden and their nephew Travis Dudley of New Kent and Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller of Washington, Va. Mrs. Miller is also a sister of Mrs. Campbell.

Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Yates of Front Royal announce the marriage of their daughter, Edith Ann Matthews to Edwin Lee Moore on Saturday, the seventh of June, in Washington, D. C. at 12:00 noon. The garden wedding and reception were held at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Louisa P. Durant. The Reverend John R. Frizzell officiated.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a pale gold, shantung, coatdress and carried yellow roses with lilies of the valley on a white Bible.
Matron of honor, the bride’s only attendant, was her sister-in-law, Suzanne L. Yates, attired in rose pink. Daughters of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Yates, Jr., Katy and Lyn, served their aunt as flower girls dressed in shell pink. The groom’s best man was his brother, Kenneth N. Moore of Arlington, Va. The couple will reside at 2032 Belmont Rd., Washington, D. C.
