Browns Fly to Colorado

Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown of Sperryville left from Dulles International Airport Saturday for an extended vacation and visit with their son and daughter-in-law CMS and Mrs. Maury W. Brown Jr. and children in Colorado Springs, Colo. They were accompanied by their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Williams and grandson Joseph B. Jones III of Richmond.

Amuaville Auxiliary

Thirteen members of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary were present for the June meeting held last Tuesday. Plans were discussed for the forthcoming carnival and among them was preparation for the annual queen contest. Paul Poling, president of Amissville Fire Department was their visitor and extended thanks from the fire company for the help of the ladies during the recent benefit supper which they sponsored. Mrs. Edward Hackley and Mrs. Ralph Rowzie served refreshments.
